Acrylic and gouache on board
16.5 x 23 cm
2025
I draw inspiration from an array of pre-loved objects I’ve gathered over the years - ceramics, bottles, children’s
toys, and ephemera. Each item, of little value, bears curious and often unknown stories.
I wish to transport the viewer into a world of ambiguity, guesswork, reflection and meditation. I want audiences to engage actively with my paintings, hoping they’ll find moments of resonance and their own personal connection. Ordinary objects become extraordinary, as they offer glimpses into the depths of one’s personal memories and emotions.
