I approach drawing and painting in a way that pushes at the limits of recognisable figurative form. I create imaginal landscapes through layering, chance and intuitive mindful mark making and line drawing, placing figures within these strange yet familiar worlds gives me further space to expand my interests in and around the relationship between our physical environments, our inner landscapes and our perception of time. These landscapes and the objects within them can become portals and a means of travel to, or a glimpse into, further imaginal, parallel worlds.
